Analyzing a production problem
Below-target component production was affecting final product assembly. In Gestão da Qualidade II (Quality Management II), my group and I analyzed this real problem at Bioproj to develop a practical process proposal.

Production problem
Insufficient production was affecting final assembly. I worked with the group to analyze the situation presented by the company and develop a proposal.
Organizing the analysis
We used Ishikawa to discuss possible causes and Pareto to organize recurring issues. The analysis and proposal were collective work.
80.6% of the aggregated defect records are in the stain and failure categories.
Analysis of the dataset supplied for this portfolio.
Where the defect records are concentrated
- Stain49.3%
- Failure31.3%
- Flow10.8%
- Sink mark4.7%
- Finishing defect3.1%
- Weld line0.8%
Source and assumptions
Supplied spreadsheet, INJEÇÃO!K2:P39754. Sum of six defect fields; missing cells were not treated as observed zeros. This does not represent a scrap rate or unique defective parts. Visual summary prepared for the portfolio on Oct 13, 2026, without establishing a reduction in defects.

Application reported by the company
We delivered a group academic proposal; the company reported applying it successfully, without measurements of productivity or savings.
The available material does not allow the impact to be quantified or any stage to be attributed exclusively to me.
From analysis to proposal
We proposed a standard operating procedure to improve internal documentation and the organization of people and machines. Bioproj later told the group it had successfully applied the proposal. This feedback is qualitative: we did not measure increased production or reduced costs, and I do not claim sole authorship of any stage.
